Department of Kaumarabhritya (Pediatrics), Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences, Manipal, had held a free Medical Camp at Govt. high School, Rajeev Nagar, Manipal from 12.01.2015 to 14.01.2015.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Shripathi Acharya, Prof. & Head Department of Kayachikitsa, Manipal. He addressed the students regarding common grains & food habit. Mr. Sai Prakash, teacher Govt. School Rajiv Nagar, anchored the programme and welcomed the guests.
Dr. Pradeep E.K, Assistant Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya gave the introductory address, Dr. Sibgath Ulla Shariff , Assistant Professor, Department of Shareera Rachana spoke about first aid.
Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat, Dr. Hariprasad Shetty, Dr. Veeraj Hegde, Dr. Shubha, Dr. Nishitha, Dr. Guruprasad Shetty, Mr. Shivanand Prabhu, (Vice principal of the school), PG students, UG students and teachers were present during the programme. More than 350 students were the beneficiaries of the camp & 100 students were distributed with medicines.
