Educational field visits offered hands-on learning in medicinal plants, environmental studies, and medical practices.

  • The college organized a study tour for 100 students of III BAMS for Swasthavrutha. On July 10 they visited Baje Dam and Sewage Treatment Plant at Nittur, Udupi. On July 11, they paid a visit toi KMF Uppoor Udupi.
  • A study tour of Agada tantra subject was held for III BAMS students. The Students in 4 batches witnessed about 8 post mortem cases at KMC Mortuary, Manipal. Further , these students in 4 batches also witnessed to 8 court case proceedings as a part of Medical Jurisprudence   (Vyavahara Ayurveda) training

  • On 22.12.2018 they had a field study around Indrali Temple Udupi with HOD Chandrakanth Bhat and Asso.Prof. Dr.Rejukrishnan
  • On 05.01.2019 they visited Peacock Point with HOD Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat and Asso.Prof. Dr.Rejukrishnan
  • On 10.01.2019, they visited Koppa Ayurveda College and the college’s herbal garden with Asso. Prof. Dr. Rejukrishnan.
  • On 28.01.2019, students paid a visit to Timmakkana Tree Park, TAPMI, Manipal, with HOD Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat and Asso. Prof. Dr. Rejukrishnan.
  • On 15.02.2019, they explored the flora at End Point walking track — a site of natural serenity and beauty — with HOD Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat and Asso. Prof. Dr. Rejukrishnan.
  • On 27.02.2019, they participated in a drug exploration activity at Grass Land, Shantinagar walking track, accompanied by HOD Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat, Asso. Prof. Dr. Rejukrishnan, and Asst. Prof. Archana Kallurayya.
  • Herbal Garden developed and maintained by Muniyal Ayurveda in the heart of Udupi city was visited by students on 18.03.2019 with HOD Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat and Asso.Prof. Dr.Rejukrishnan and Asst. Prof. Archana Kallurayya
  • A drug study was organized on 30.03.2019 at Kunjaru Giri and Pajaka with HOD Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat and Asso.Prof. Dr.Rejukrishnan and Asst. Prof. Archana Kallurayya
  • On 17.05.2019 they visited Pillarkana Temple with HOD Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat, Prof. Dr.Hariprasad Shetty and Asso.Prof. Rejukrishnan
  • On 27.07.2019 they collected drug samples from Agumbe Jain Temple with HOD Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat and Prof.Dr.Hariprasad Shetty and Asst. Prof. Archana Kallurayya
  • Field trip with pgs to ARBI FALLS , manipal on 12th june 2024 for exploration rainy season plants
  • Visit to PILIKUKULA BIODIVERSITY PARK, MANGALORE on 19th december with all pgs as a part of pg carriculum, a talk by Dr. SHENOY assistant director , then visited park and indentyfied many medicinal and botanica plants, rare and endagered species.

  • Plantation programme at Harikandige Muniyal Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy College Campus by II UG and PG students along with NSS volunteers. Around 150 plant saplings were planted on the campus.
  • Outside field trip to Pilikula Biodiversity Park, Vamanjoor, Mangalore on 06.09.2024 under the guidance of Dravyaguna HOD Dr. Chandrakanth Bhat and Dr. Archana Kallurayya.
  • Field trip with NSS volunteers in and around Pernankila Village with folk medicine practitioner Keshav Naik on 21.02.2025.
  • Field trip with NSS volunteers to Jomblu Teertha, Karkala on 22.02.2025.

This new plan is designed to reduce the average cost of a Make School Education while preserving the core protections of ISAs – if you don’t have a job after Make School, you should not have to pay until you are employed.
