The Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga teaches principles of healthy living, disease prevention, and yoga therapy for overall well-being.
Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga
Department of Swasthvritta teaches and trains the students of 2nd professional of B.A.M.S. course about the basics of Swasthvritta and its application concepts in prevention of different diseases & to an extent their management. The main focus of study is to make aware the students regarding fundamental of healthy living & applicability of Swasthvritta in diseased condition and as preventive measures for well being and long life. Department of dietetics is also available. The department presently comprises one professor and one reader and one lecturer (Assistant professor)
Department of Yoga has a full time post graduate teacher in Yoga therapy. The approach of students is also shaped toward various Asanas & Pranayama for curing the diseased status of patients. Yoga Hall, pyramid, facilities for meditation and Yoga therapy are provided.
