The Department of Rasa-Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana teaches Ayurvedic medicine preparation and processing, offering UG, PG, and PhD courses with a certified in-house pharmacy.

The department of Rasa-Shastra is an integral part of curriculum of 2nd professional BAMS. Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana is a combined branch of Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceuticals, Neutraceuticals and Pharmacology. Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana is the potential branch deals with selection of genuine raw drugs, their collection, processing of poisonous herbs, manufacture of herbal, herbo-mineral, herbo-metallic formulations and their therapeutic indications, dose, vehicle and diet. This department has seven teaching staff out of which three are professors, two readers and two lecturers (Assistant professors). This department offers post graduate and doctoral courses.
Institution is attached with a state of the art pharmacy with GMP and ISO 9001:2018 certification.
