Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences, Manipal, participated in a beach cleaning drive at Malpe Beach on Thursday from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.
The programme was organised in association with the Coastal Police, Malpe Police Station and Udupi Municipality. 25 Students actively participated in cleaning the beach and spreading awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
Deputy Commissioner of Udupi District Smt. Swaroopa T.K., IAS, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Shri Abid Gadyal, KAS, were present on the occasion. The programme was headed by Dr. Rajkiran, Associate Professor, Department of Shalya Tantra, MIAMS.
