On the occasion of National Science Day, one day interactive workshop on Ayurveda was organised at Karnataka Public School Hiriadka, in Association with MIAMS, Manipal. The programme started with short inaugural ceremony presided by the principal of Karnataka Public School Mr.Manjunath Bhat, faculty of MIAMS Dr.Rashmi Kalkura K, Dr. Madhavi, Dr.Varuni S Bayari, PG Scholars Dr.Manjula, Dr.Chaitra, Dr. Abhishek.
Sessions explored areas of Ayurvedic Texicology- Snakes and Bits, Stress Management, Menstrual Hygeine, and Medicinal plants and their formualations. A hands on training on Identification of herbs and formulating medicines was also provided. The event was concluded with the short valedictory function stating the importance of Ayurveda awareness in the society
