MUNIYOGA” FOR SOUTH KOREAN DELEGATES

Muniyoga, a special, comprehensive & scientific training in yoga, ayurveda, philosophy of Buddhism, Kalaripayatu (Kerala martial art form), and panchakarma procedures, was provided to a delegation from South Korea at Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences, Manipal.The training in Muniyoga was organised from Jan 27 to 29th 2014, for teachers from Wonkwang Digital University. This training programme was inaugurated by Dr. Vijayabhanu Shetty, Chairman of the Institute and Dr. Sathyanarayana Bhat, Principal presented the inaugural lecture. Co-ordinator of the training programme, Mr. Dharmendra Mishra from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Mr. Jong Soon Siyo from Wonkwang digital university graced the inauguration. Dr. Sripathy Acharya welcomed the attending delegates and Dr. Rajneesh V Giri proposed the Vote of Thanks. The Programme was coordinated by Dr. Gururaja Tantry and Dr. Sibgath Ulla Shariff. Practical training sessions were organised for yoga, pranayama, anapanasathi, dhyana, panchakarma etc. Practical training in Buddhist meditation was organised under Sugatananda Banteji of Mahabodhi Society. The training was attended by 30 teachers from Wonkwang Digital University
