On the eve of Vanamahotsava Sapthaha and Gurupoornima, Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital , Manipal has organized free Medicinal Plants distribution Camp at its premises for the Public of Udupi District on 06.07.2020 Monday. More than 3000 medicinal plants saplings of 18 types of various utilities such as immune booster like Amrutha, Vibhitaki, Goosberry , Neem, edible fruits and flowers like Guava, Kokum, Amla and Parisha, general Medicinal Plants like Bilwa, Wild Almond , Honge and Shrubs and creepers like Chitraka, Vasa, long pepper, Black pepper , Cissus and Nukki are distributed to more than 300 citizens. Meanwhile enough precautions were observed due to ongoing Covid – 19 pandemic, said the press release of the Institution.
