Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru in partnership with UNICEF organized Nutrition Awareness and health screening programme under the Project “Engagement of NSS Volunteers for Social and Behaviour Change among communities to avail Health and Nutrition Services in Karnataka” on 28.05.2022 at Academy Primary School, Manipal.
Dr.Niveditha Hebbar, Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics participated as Resource Person and gave awareness talk on Importance of Nutrition and Hygiene.N.S.S Volunteers conducted hand wash and Yoga demonstration with various activities to create awareness about Nutrition and Hygiene in Daily routine. Mrs.Lakshmi, Head Mistress, Co-Teachers of School and N.S.S programme officer of Dr.Sudeepa witnessed the programme. 106 students underwent health screening.
