Recently, A two-day seminar was held at Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda, Medical Sciences,Manipal .At the Inaugural function, Dr. GururajTantri, PG Dean, Dept. of Shalya Tantra, presided over the function and addressed the importance of medical CME to doctors and post graduate students.
Dr. Rashmi Kalkura, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Kayachikitsa was the Master of Ceremony of the Program and Dr. Pramod Shet Associate Professor, Dept. of Kayachikitsa welcomed the gathering.
On the first day of CME program Dr. Shridhar Holla, Medical Director of Mitra Hospital, Udupi and Dr. Sarika Holla, Physician, Mitra Hospital, Udupi were present as a guest speakers. They explained regarding Pulmonary oedema of cardiogenic & non-cardiogenic origin along with the sudden cardiac death. Followed by guest speaker Dr. Vyasaraj Tantri, Professor, Dept. of Swasthavritta, MIAMS Manipal explained about Documentation work in hospital and Emergencies in Routing Clinical Practice and Guest speaker Dr. Deepashree Shetty, Professor, Department of Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga, MIAMS Manipal described about clinical approach to common gynecological diseases.
At the End, Valedictory function was presided by Dr. Shraddha Shetty, Member of Dr. U. Krishna Muniyal Memorial Trust (R) and Professor said that such CME’s are important for improving skill of doctors. Dr. Niveditha Hebbar, Associate Professor Dept. of Kaumarabhritya welcomed the gathering and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Promod Shet B. Associate Professor Dept. of Kayachikitsa and the whole ceremony of valedictory function was presented by Dr. Ashwini Nayak, Asst. Professor, Dept of Kriyasharira.
