On the occasion of “World Breast feeding week and awareness program”, MIAMS, Manipal together with NSS unit organized a Brest Feeding Awareness and Health Check up camp on 5/8/22, Friday at Rajivanagara , Anganwadi Centre, 80 Badagubettu village,Manipal. Dr. Shrivanitha Associate Professor, Dept. of Agadatantra participated as resource person and gave awareness talk on the importance of breast feeding and nutrition.
80 Badagubettu village panchayat member Smt. Flossy Fernandes, Anganwadi teacher Mrs.Lakshmi and NSS Programme Officer Dr. Sudeepa witnessed the program. 18 students of Anganwadi underwent health screening for anaemia and malnutrition.
