Students Union Council inauguration for the year 2022-23 was conducted at 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Buddhaayurved auditorium MIAMS Manipal on 27th August 2022.
The event was inaugurated by Sri Manohar S Shetty, Managing Director, Sai Radha Groups and was presided over by Chairman Dr. M Vijaybhanu Shetty. Mrs. Hemalatha Shetty Trustee, Muniyal Group of Institutions, Dr Sathyanrayana B, Principal MIAMS Manipal, Dr Nikhil, President of previous students Union were present on the dias.
Dr. Rashmi Kalkiura introduced the new council member. Mr. Shripada Upadhya of final year was appointed as new President for academic year 2022-23. Dr Satyanarayana B principal administered the oath to the new President of Students union 2022-23 and other new council members. The old council president Dr. Nikhil gave the glimpses of the activities of academic year 2021- 22.
The session was followed by prize distribution in various literary, cultural, sports events held during the academic year 2021- 22 along with Proficiency prizes of the academic year 2021- 22.
Dr Anupama Devasiya introduced to the Chief guest to the audience. Welcoming the dignitaries was done by Dr Archana Kalluraya. Dr Vidyashree delivered the vote of thanks and the programme was hosted by Dr Ashitha.
After the formal function students of MIAMS gave various cultural programs.
